There are different types of referrals, the basic types are:
1. Inactive referrals - these are referrals who rarely click or never click at all.
2. Active referrals - these are the regular clickers and earners. These are our target referrals to earn more.
Some PTC sites have direct referral limits so you should make sure your referrals are active. On the otherhand, some allows you unlimited referrals, so refer as much as you want without worrying whether they're active or not.

This method is number one on the list because it has the highest rate of getting active referrals and it is the first method you should be using. It is a method wherein someone will sign up as your referral for a site you belong to if you sign up for one of theirs. So the chance is you will get active referrals. Though this method will only give you few referrals, take note, they are active referrals. Remember that few active referrals are better than thousands of inactive referrals. This method is good when you use it the right way but there is also risk for it. You will not be sure that the site they offer is trusted since some of the offerers are newbies as well. Also some will try to signup but they will never be active. If you find it hard to use this method, you may just signup to some of my top 5 PTC sites link here and proceed to other methods below that will give you more referrals.
2. PHYSICAL REFERRALS
Physical referrals is the easiest method. You will just tell your friend, classmates, barkadas to signup using your referral link and that's it. You'll just need to follow them up to make them active. The advantage of this method is that you have the control of them. What I mean is, when they stop clicking, you could easily tell them to continue by telling what you've got but, don't exaggerate. I suggest you to try this method, its simple and effective.

This technique involves promoting your referral links in your website or blog so all you need to promote is just one single link. This might be the hardest part of all the method because it will consume a lot of time but its worth it. If you build your website well and perform different traffic techniques, you will get tons of visits. You should take some space on your website to explain what PTC is. This is in case a visitor comes to your site with no prior knowledge of PTC's. You want to explain it in a way that is simple and inviting, but do not exaggerate. Please, do not make false claims to get referrals.

You will be directed to a framed page where you will view other member's web pages. When the timer in the frame stops, you will be asked to click on a certain number, word, or shape. Once you do, you will see the next page. So, how does this help you? As you surf, you accrue credits or points which you can redeem for visits to your site. 2) Plan to spend a few hours a day surfing. - Try to spread your surfing time among several sites. This gives your site a broader audience. I would suggest surfing two or three at once; this is perfectly acceptable.
3) Make use of the bonuses that each site offers. - Some sites offer huge bonuses that equal up to hundreds of views for your site. Take time to reach these bonuses and get free views for your site.

The way it works is quite simple:

It really is easy, but the results are indecisive. I have gotten many referrals from this site. The question here is whether or not they will be active.
When someone signs up under you, you have 3 days to see if they are going to be active before you give them the points. If they are not, then you can withhold the points, but it will have a negative impact on your rating (If your rating gets too low, no one will sign up for your sites).
6. ADVERTISING ON PTC SITES
You may have noticed that each PTC sites have advertising functions. You can use this function to your advantage. Advertising cost you money so you should make sure you don't go below breakeven.
How can we be sure we can benefit from this method? You should use it wisely. Do not advertise old PTC sites to another old PTC site. You should always be careful when investing your own money in a PTC site.
Also, you should do the math. When you purchase referrals, you should be able to make your money back in 2 months maximum. Consider how much you make off of referrals as well as how many ads the site has each day. Only purchase refs at sites where you will start making profit after 2 months.
